In difficult times at work it is so important to be highly visible, fighting alongside the team, to wave the flag, rally the troops and put the cause sometimes before all else. However, equally important is that when the battle is fought, the war is won and the dust as settled one must show humility and unite.

Gloating and belittling should never be part of the mix. Neither will help in the necessary healing in the aftermath. It is especially important that if you lose or win then you do either with humility. Act with class, defer from braggadocio and win through with humility.

Humility is the new super gene. Gloat and you will sub-optimize potential. Embrace all and move positively forward with a solid message and you will prosper.
