It is important when you are battling through difficult times that you try and keep things in perspective. By definition, when you are feeling the full blown efforts of  a crisis it is not the time you are sitting back and smelling the roses of your life. However, it is during these difficult times that you must find things to be thankful for. Remember, this is time when you most likely are edgy, irritable and angry. You feel like it is you versus the world and the world usually loves those odds. However, pause and take a moment and find those 3 things to be thankful for. It could be your health. It could be your family, your friends, your neighbor and something else. Look directly in the mirror and recognize these things and make a daily affirmation that while life is not fun right now that you will fight through and get to a better place. Have the courage to fight down your demons, learn from your mistakes and reinsure and reenergize yourself with the belief that your next chapter will be a better one. Soon enough it will be and the things you are thankful for daily will have helped you in your “peace” journey. Good luck.
