Many times I meet with people who want to know what was the thing that made a difference in my life or how did I succeed?
Like most things there is not a single thing to point to that made the difference. What I say is that I would always do whatever it takes to succeed. Of course, within legal and moral bounds. There was not a task too small or large, a call I would not make, a trip I would not take. I mean I did whatever it takes. I have flown halfway around the world more times than I care to remember for an hour meeting. People asked if I was crazy. I always thought I demonstrated what leadership was all about. I did whatever it takes.
Review your practices and give an honest assessment if you do whatever it takes to succeed?
